I honestly forgot all about this page.  Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do.  Add about 10 games and take some new pictures since my setup doesn't look anything like that anymore.

Went out and bought this.  After Zitpopper showed me a few things playing coop demo the other day, I decided to break down and buy this.  After playing this all day yesterday, I will say I like it.  Normally I need some direction in my life but I spent the entire day randomly doing things.  Sure I killed some crime bosses but I did a lot more climbing and exploring.  As of right now, I recommend this game.  Check back in a month.  A buddy of mine is coming over today to check out the 360.  He is older than me and still a big time gamer.  His system of choice is the PS2.  I have been bragging about the 360.  His problem is that he lives in the country and has no access to high speed. 

Borrowed this from my coworker, Zitpopper.  I had played some Morrowind and just never really got into it.  I need direction in my gaming.  I don't do real well unless I have a direction to go.  So far I am liking this game.  I stille haven't got out of the sewers but I might get into it.  Good graphics.  I played for about an hour tonight.  I had to get a little Gears in.  I just found my second berserker.  Will figure out how to get him outside tomorrow.  Another coworker got his 360 tonight.  He is signed up and ready to go.  Diggler 25, welcome to the wonderful world of Xbox Live.

I have been renting games for my two little boys (3.5 and 5 years old) to play.  We rented Lego Star Wars the other day and they loved it.  I thought it was good also and will probably buy it.  Today I rented Amped 3.  Not real excited about it.  The boys thought it was okay but they weren't juiced about it.  Unlocked a couple achievements and will probably get a few more before I return it but overall, I'm not impressed.  Played a little Gears tonight.  Finally killed my berserker and finished level one.  Had to quit to watch Lost. 

Had to go back to work today after a four day weekend.  It sucked.  Did get a little gaming in.  Raced some Nascar on the PS2 with my boys when we got home.  Then moved to my true love, the 360 for some Crackdown.  Still not sure if I want to buy this or not.  I will keep playing the demo for awhile.  Played a little Gears and am officially stuck.  I have met my first Berserker.  I can't figure out what to do.  I don't have a enough grenades to blow all the doors I need to blow.  Not sure what to do.  Finally bought Uno.  I am officially 2-1.  I might have to quit while I'm ahead.

Woke up to a little snow this morning.  Sure was pretty while it lasted.  Got out after lunch to see one of my students in the hospital.  He broke his jaw the other night in a basketball game.  He was diving for a loose ball and hit another players knee.  He broke the front of his jaw in two places and that loose piece was shoved back in his mouth.  The bottom teeth were layed back and busted his chin open.  They went in this morning and did surgery.  They put two plates in and wired his jaws shut.  Poor guy looked horrible.  On the way home I stopped and picked up another wireless controller for the 360.  I rented Legos Star Wars for my boys yesterday and sharing one controller didn't go real well.  I went ahead and got the other controller and will have to pick up the game soon.  They love it.  They played it for four straight hours yesterday until I made them turn it off.  They have never played a game that long before.  I have to admit, it is a pretty cool game.  When I buy it I will have to go through it myself sometime.  My wife is downstairs with them right now playing.  I can't wait for bedtime so I can get some online time with Gears.  I am horrible at it but absolutely love it.  I figure you can't get any better unless you practice.  Luckily I have fallen in with a couple of guys who are real cool with my suckiness.  I think they just like getting the easy kills.

I just got on live and I will have to say, it's a little intimidating.  I will start off by saying I am usually a quiet person.  Once I get to know people, I become very outgoing.  Having just started off on live, I don't have a lot of friends yet.  I went on live the other day to play Halo 2.  I got wasted.  I have almost finished the game playing by myself so I thought I could go online and play.  Wrong!  If I got 2-3 kills a game, I had a good game.  Now I know that you have to practice but getting wasted left and right didn't allow me much practice time.  Then I hooked up with a guy who had sent me a friend's request.  Nomadx68, I owe you a big thanks.  He played a few games with me and gave me some good words of wisdom.  I then met up with a guy I work with.  Zitpopper is a guy that I teach with who I didn't even know was a gamer until I ran ito him at Walmart one day.  I was online a couple of nights ago and he invited me to play Gears of War with him and some of his buddies.  They took a complete newby like myself on their team and we played and I had a ball.  Now these guys play together all the time and they were having a blast together.  This was what I am looking for.  They made me feel at home.  Our team ended up getting beat and I am sure I was a big reason for that but they never said a word.  Before this, I was starting to wonder if I had made a mistake with this whole online thing.  I believe after I find the right friends and get a little experience, I am going to love online play.

Just got back from Walmart and they gave me no problems.  Exchanged it out and back home.  Just got it hooked up and so far, so good.  Did not get a red light this time.  Maybe I can get through the weekend with this one.

Well, just my luck.  I bought a lemon.  When I hooked up the 360 yesterday, the lower right red light came on and was followed by an error page.  I turned it off and on a couple of times and it worked fine.  Tried again last night and same thing.  I didn't think too much of it.  Figured I had done something wrong.  Posted it to the xbox forums and it turns out I have a hard drive problem.  I am going to take it back today and hopefully exchange it.  Wish me luck.

I finally broke down and bought the 360.  What a relief.  I have been trying to talk myself out of it for some time now and I was afraid that I would give up on it.  I bought Gears of War and am currently waiting for the kids to go to bed to go downstairs and play around a little bit.  I am excited.  Of course now everything doesn't fit on my stand.  I had to move the cd player out to make room.  I don't play cd very often so no big deal.  If I can hook the iPod up to the 360, I really don't need the cd player.  Oh, I have so much to learn.  Good thing that this is a four day weekend.

I went to Wal-Mart yesterday with cash in hand to get a 360.  I didnot get one.  I keep talking myself out of it.  I really want one but do I really need it.  I stayed at home today with my boys.  Sitter called and is sick today.  All morning the boys have been down stairs playing basketball on the PS2 and Crimson Skies and NFL Street on the Xbox.  Time to kick them off and do a little playing of my own.

Well I finall got online today.  They don't really make it very easy.  I had a username on xbox.com forums that I wanted to use as my gamertag.  The system said that the name was already taken.  It was by me.  Nobody seemed to be able to help so I changed names.  Well little did I know how much trouble that would cause with my other live space using the other name.  So I am starting new here with the new name.  For here on out I am H2Daddy.  Played a little Crimson Skies online tonight and stunk it up but boy did I have fun.  I am going to have to go ahead and get the 360.  I love playing online.  I am currently downloading some map packs for Halo 2 so I can get online and play that.  I better get to bed now.  Gotta work in the morning.
